Public holidays: New Year?s Day; Good Friday; Easter Monday; Early May, Late May and Summer (Aug) Bank Holidays; Christmas Day; Boxing Day.

Good buys: Stock up on tea and typically British labels like Burberry, Daks and Aquascutum. Harrods and Marks & Spencer are also popular shops.
