This ubiquitous and very cheap restaurant chain serves extraordinary Japanese versions of Western fast food: sandwiches made using rice cakes filled with vegetable tempura, teriyaki chicken, deep-fried prawn, kinpira gobo (fried chilli, burdock and carrot) and pork sgoya yaki (sautéed with ginger). There are five Mos burgers in Shibuya-ku and 13 in Shinjuku-ku. The best branch is in Dogenzaka, an area famous for its love hotels. It also has a lively nightlife, being near the best clubs, including Womb and La Fabrique. No matter what the time of day, you can expect to see lots of insanely dressed teenage girls.
