With its cascading fountain and elegant surrounds, the pool is the emblematic feature of this 1940s Art Deco hotel designed by Miami architect Lawrence Murray Dixon. The Raleigh was acquired by hotelier André Balazs in 2002, since when it has been sympathetically refurbished. Balazs has been particularly careful to preserve the beach-club atmosphere of the pool area.
