Hordes of beautiful blond people hang out on Grisslinge Havsbad beach, 30 minutes' drive east of Stockholm on route 222. There's a café and restaurant, but do as the Swedes do and pack an engangsgrill disposable barbecue (available from any petrol station), some sausages and a cooler full of Pripps Bla (the summer beer), spark up your coals and soak up the laid-back atmosphere.
