In a virgin pine forest in south-west Turkey, just inland from
the Lycian coast.
WHAT'S ON OFFER
Chic camping with mod cons: the eight traditional yurts
have comfortable beds (two or three per yurt), wooden floors and electricity, plus a skylight that opens to the stars. Although this is a retreat offering yoga and walking holidays, you can stay without attending a course. There is a delightful shaded swimming pool and the Turkish, mainly vegetarian, meals are exceptional.
DISTANCE FROM BEACH
A 15-minute drive to the Bay of Fethiye, where you can rent a gulet (traditional wooden boat) for the day
PRICE
Most people book a week (from £390 with a course, £330
without) but if you're lucky there might be a yurt available for shorter breaks
(£50 full-board per person per night).
