Set high on a cliff by the village of Ponta do Sol on the south coast, above a pebble beach, the hotel has 54 sleek rooms, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and cantilevered balconies, and it costs as little as €65 per night (if you stay for eight). Even over Christmas, the most expensive rooms are only €120.
