BLUE PRINT CAFÉ

LONDON, ENGLAND
PHOTO GALLERY
All the restaurants in Sir Terence Conran's 'gastrodome' have the asset of a romantic riverside location and a view of the Thames' most historic bridge, Tower Bridge, which is strikingly lit-up at night. But only the Blue Print Café has the advantage of a first-floor location and terrace and Jeremy Lee as its chef. Fans of Lee's column in The Guardian newspaper's Saturday section, Weekend, will expect and find, unfussy, seasonal food of the kind that Elizabeth David espoused, including desserts that have stood the test of time, such as petit pot au chocolat. It may be a café in look and table-settings, but not in price.
