| THE FACTS ABOUT BLISS SPA LONDON | |
| England London | |
| Bliss Spa is a haven set in-between the bustle of restaurants and shops that run from Sloane Square through to South Kensington. You almost feel your heart rate slow as you step into the futuristic, shiny, white-walled reception and speak to staff that ooze peace and tranquillity. But there's no messing around, and you soon find yourself in a dressing gown and a pair of blue havaianas flip-flops, being led through to the lounge. Here there are healthy (olives, fruit juice and water) and not-so-healthy (chocolate brownies and cheese) refreshments, which you can munch on while you unwind with a magazine. Bliss London offers a number of treatments, all with original names, including the Love Handler to tackle those spare tyres, the Youth As We Know It facial and the Shrink-Wrap, which firms and tones. If you're unsure which to go for, try the spa's signature Blissage massage, a 75-minute combination of Swedish and Shiatsu techniques, which gradually loosens each and every muscle in your back, legs and arms. By the end, if you're still awake, you'll feel completely stress-free and tingly all over. The Blissage costs £125. 60 Sloane Avenue, London, SW3 3DD (020 7584 3888; www.blisslondon.co.uk).
