HOW TO GET THERE
There are lengthy main road routes from junctions 36 and 40 on M6 or 1-in-3 gradient, single track over Hardknott Pass. Scenic Cumbria Coastal Railway links with the West Coast Main Line at Lancaster and Carlisle.
