In view of Sweden's influence on the way the world lives, Ikea has outlets in 35 countries and in October London gets a branch of Svenskt Tenn, a store that has long drawn weekend shoppers to Stockholm, it's hardly surprising that its capital city hosts a massive homes and interiors fair. True, Hem & Villas is more Ideal Home Exhibition than Milan Furniture fair; but it does showcase the best of new Nordic design, so it's a good enough reason to make the trip to Stockholm.
