This charity offers 'adventures with a purpose', either on two-month conservation projects or five-month trips combining conservation with an intensive language course and teaching in rural communities

Sabah and Sarawak in Borneo; Belize
WHAT
Scientific expeditions and conservation projects focus on promoting responsible tourism in marine reserves or national parks, so volunteers may help to build research centres and jetties, or build camp sites
HOW
Introduction days are held on two Sundays per month; places are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Costs are £2,350 for a two-month trip, £3,300 for 17 weeks in Sarawak, or £3,600 for five months (including flights)
