WHERE
Madagascar, Tanzania and Vietnam

WHAT
Volunteers help with long-term conservation projects such as habitat-mapping, studying reefs and working in threatened mangrove areas alongside scientists and students. Data collected is sent to local institutions

HOW
You are required to attend a briefing weekend (six weeks before departure) to meet other volunteers and learn about your project. A 10-week project costs from £2,250; 20-week projects from £3,800, both not including flights
