Modern and traditional Mediterranean French dishes taught by the ebullient Alex Mackay, former director of Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir cookery school.
MENU
Alex's energy and a maximum of six students ensure a house-party atmosphere and individual attention. The emphasis is on confidence-building rather than strict recipes.
ADDED INGREDIENTS
Swimming pool, dining in the shade of a mulberry tree, and the St Tropez markets on Saturday mornings.
WHERE AND WHEN
Six-night courses in June, July and August staying in a sumptuously furnished house in the grounds of working vineyard. Bedrooms overlook a rose- and jasmine-filled garden.
