The 'party island' has more than 20 bars on its four square miles. Day-trippers and yachties around the Virgin Islands make Jost their stop for a drink or two and perhaps happen upon an impromptu jam session at one of the beach bars. You'll find what most resembles a street in Great Harbour, where 'hangover cures' are sold at Rudy's. Avoid the crowd by climbing to higher elevations; the best views are from Majohnny Hill.
