Westover Hall Hotel's Grade II listed Victorian mansion is picturesquely situated at the edge of the New Forest, from where it has uninterrupted views over Christchurch Bay and the Isle of Wight. The building hails from 1897 and several original features - including the stained glass - give it a rustic and cosy feel. The rooms are excellent: six of them have incredible views over the bay, and all have bathrooms with Molton Brown products. The private beach hut is ideal if you want to take a closer look at the view, while the hotel's art exhibition can be seen in detail on a rainy day.
