The city's first destination spa opened last year in the heart of Bangkok and is a real gem. Housed in seven restored teak mansions on a secluded side street, the rooms and suites are in five of the houses, and the spa is in two. Treatments with Sundari products are complemeted by yoga, t'ai chi, fit-ball, aerobics, Pilates, homeopathy and meditation. Facilities include three pools, a juice and elixir bar, herbal steam room and a restaurant serving delicious Thai spa cuisine.
