| THE FACTS ABOUT DJEBEL MUSA | |
| Spain | |
| Ideally situated below the village's castle ruins, the stunningly white Djebel Musa backs onto a quiet road and projects out over a steep cliff with views of both the village and countryside. The well-tended garden falls away in narrow terraces down to an infinity-edged swimming pool, which has been carved into the rocks and is screened by vegetation. The house is built on three levels, with the en-suite master bedroom in a top-floor tower reached via a minstrel's gallery overlooking the living room. The second bedroom is on the ground floor, below which there is a twin-bedded studio flat, with a balcony, kitchenette and private entrance. There are terraces off the living room, country-style dining room/kitchen and both bedrooms. South African Kubi cloth hangings, Moroccan rugs and comfortable furniture upholstered in loose covers and piled high with cushions, make Djebel Musa an inviting home with a great deal of character. It is south-facing, so filled with light, and has enough outdoor space for all the guests to contemplate the views in solitude.
