Whisper it softly, but the Bellinis at the Danieli, near St Mark's Square, are better than those at Harry's Bar, made with fresh white-peach juice and Crede from top Prosecco producers Bisol. And then there's the view from the top-floor terrace: by the time you tuck into the lobster salad, lightly dressed with truffle oil, you'll agree that there is nothing quite like it. Order a fritto misto of fish caught from the lagoon, and gaze out at San Giorgio and Il Redentore - this is pure, unadulterated luxury that everyone should experience at least once in a lifetime.
