THE FACTS ABOUT LA GAVIOTA
Spain Mallorca

This curvaceous, architect-designed house is immaculately presented. Mostly white, with huge feature windows, skylights and French doors, it is light and airy and has three big en-suite bedrooms. Terracotta tiles edged in white give it a cool, Mediterranean look; the contemporary furniture is complemented with a smattering of African artworks. The master bedroom is reached from a mezzanine landing in the double-height living/dining room; from the bedroom, French doors open onto a terrifying expanse of white concrete that swoops down the side of the house to the pool terrace. The charming house manager will organise yacht charters and gourmet picnics, and the cook prepares menus based on guests' preferences.
