Entre Molins is in the south-east of the island, just outside the little village of S'Alqueria Blanca near Cala d'Or. The owners have completely gutted and reconfigured the house to create a very graphic space with an open-plan living and dining area downstairs (white walls, white slip-covered sofas, white table) and three simple, almost monastic bedrooms upstairs (painted concrete floors, bare windows). No less than five French doors open onto the veranda, which runs the length of the house and from which there are wonderful, open views across olive groves to the Cala Mondrago National Park and Mediterranean sea. The grounds are landscaped with stone retaining walls and planted with a small orange grove, almond trees, olive trees, lavender and herbs; on an upper terrace is a sensationally simple, rectangular swimming pool, inserted into a platform built from local Santanyi sandstone.
