Although this traditional stone finca was built only three years ago, old beams and reclaimed doors, a pebble-stone internal courtyard and stone floors conspire in the illusion of greater age. The house is divided in two, with the impressive living areas and master suite on one side of the courtyard and three en-suite bedrooms and another sitting room/playroom on the other. The sophisticated decor mixes formal elements such as shot-silk drapes with rustic details, and antiques with modern pieces; there are big fireplaces, original paintings, plenty of books and all the equipment you'd expect in a house of this quality. It is rented with an English chef, host and nanny (they lodge in nearby Artà) and the maid comes in six days a week.
