| THE FACTS ABOUT 63 RANCH | |
| USA | |
| Dating back to 1863 (hence the name), this working dude ranch has been operated by the same family since 1929. Accommodation is in 11 rustic cabins. Activities include daily trail rides, helping wranglers move cattle and learning to lasso. The incredible scenery (the ranch is located 50 miles north of Yellowstone National Park) is great for amateur photographers, as well as hikers. Fishing and overnight pack trips can also be arranged. Cost: An all-inclusive, seven-night holiday costs from $1,550 per person, based on two sharing. You are advised to book at least three to four months in advance - more if you are planning to take you family during a school holiday.
