So impressed were you with this Indian Ocean resort that it received scores above 90 for all nine criteria, sending it to the top of our 'best of the best' Top 100. You were particularly impressed with its ambience/ decor (97.91) and leisure facilities (96.72), but chose to single out the Cape Grace in South Africa for service/staff

As for ASIA & THE INDIAN SUBCONTINENT, those of you who visited the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai in Thailand were much taken with the attentive service/staff (97.96) and food/restaurants (97.24), but the nearby Mandarin Oriental Chiang Mai won hands down for ambience/decor (98.79) and The Datai in Malaysia for standard/comfort of accommodation (98.87). Phuket's Amanpuri was judged best for location (98.08) and The Chedi Phuket offered the best value for money (92.94). |
