Sunset over Jack's Camp in Botswana
Located deep in the Kalahari Desert on the edge of the Makgakidgadi Pans, the largest saltpans in the world, Jack's Camp is a classic desert safari camp with 10 large walk-in tents with en-suite bathrooms. There is also a mess tent for dining and a tea tent with Persian carpet cushions for lounging and swapping wilderbeest stories in the evening. Guests can expect to see zebra, springbok, waterfowl and flamingos, go on walks with a Bushman tracker and visit Champan's Baobab, the historical baobab tree used by Livingstone, Selous and other explorers.
